How to Use the Calculator
To use this calculator, follow these simple steps:
- Enter the whole part of the first fraction in the “Whole part 1” field.
- Enter the numerator of the first fraction in the “Numerator 1” field.
- Enter the denominator of the first fraction in the “Denominator 1” field.
- Enter the whole part of the second fraction in the “Whole part 2” field.
- Enter the numerator of the second fraction in the “Numerator 2” field.
- Enter the denominator of the second fraction in the “Denominator 2” field.
- Click the “Calculate” button to see the percentage difference between the two fractions.
- If you need to start over, click the “AC” button to clear all fields.
Understanding the Results
Once you click “Calculate”, you will see the comparison result displayed. The result will indicate whether Fraction 1 is greater than, less than, or equal to Fraction 2. Additionally, the percentage difference between the two fractions will be shown.
Example
Let’s say you want to compare the fractions 3/4 and 1/2. Enter the numerator and denominator for each fraction, and click “Calculate”. The result will show that Fraction 1 (3/4) is greater than Fraction 2 (1/2) by 50%.
