Estimate is for material only (standard 60cm depth). Excludes cutouts, special edges, and installation.
This calculator helps you estimate the material cost for a new kitchen countertop based on its total length and your chosen material. It's an excellent tool for initial budgeting and comparing the price points of different options like laminate, solid wood, acrylic stone, and quartz.
To get your estimate, simply enter the required countertop length in meters and select a material. The calculator automatically computes the cost based on the price per linear meter for that material.
Formula Used
The calculator uses a simple multiplication to find the total cost:
Estimated Cost = Total Length (m) × Price per Meter (€/m)
Example Calculation
Let's say you need a countertop for a small kitchen and are considering an affordable option:
- Total Length: 3.5 meters
- Selected Material: Laminate (with a sample price of €50 per meter)
Applying the formula:
3.5 m × €50/m = €175.00
The estimated material cost for this countertop would be €175.00.
Please note: This estimate is for the material only, assuming a standard 60cm depth. It does not include costs for cutouts (sinks, hobs), special edge finishes, or installation.
