Planning for Halloween candy can be tricky, but our Candy Calculator makes it simple! This tool helps you determine exactly how many pieces of candy and how many bags you'll need to satisfy all your trick-or-treaters.
How it Works
The calculator uses a straightforward formula:
Total Pieces Needed = Number of Trick-or-Treaters × Pieces per Child × 1.15 (buffer)- The 1.15 buffer accounts for a little extra, because it's always better to have too much candy than not enough!
- Each standard candy bag is assumed to contain 150 pieces.
Example
Let's say you expect 50 children and plan to give each child 2 pieces of candy. The calculation would be:
50 children × 2 pieces/child × 1.15 = 115 total pieces- This means you would need approximately 115 pieces of candy, which translates to 1 bag of candy.
