Use this calculator to determine the number of pavers required for your patio or walkway project. Simply enter the length and width of the area to be paved, then select the size of the pavers you plan to use.
The calculator computes the total area and the exact number of pavers needed. It also provides a recommended quantity, adding an extra 5% to account for cutting waste and breakage.
Formula:
- Total Area = Length × Width
- Number of Pavers = Total Area ÷ Area of One Paver
- Recommended Pavers = Number of Pavers × 1.05
Example: For a patio measuring 5m by 3m using 30×30 cm pavers (0.09 m² each):
- Total Area = 5 × 3 = 15 m²
- Pavers Needed = 15 ÷ 0.09 ≈ 167
- Recommended (with 5% extra) = 167 × 1.05 ≈ 176
