The calculation is based on the following formula:
GPA = Sum of (Grade Points × Credits) / Total Credits
For example, if you received an "A" (4.0 points) in a 3-credit course and a "B" (3.0 points) in another 3-credit course:
- Course 1: 4.0 (A) × 3 Credits = 12 Quality Points
- Course 2: 3.0 (B) × 3 Credits = 9 Quality Points
- Total Quality Points = 12 + 9 = 21
- Total Credits = 3 + 3 = 6
- Semester GPA = 21 / 6 = 3.50
