How to Use the Fraction Calculator
This fraction calculator allows you to input fractions and round the results to various decimal places or whole numbers. Follow the steps below to use the calculator:
- Enter the integer part of the fraction in the “Integer” field. If there is no integer part, you can leave this field blank.
- Enter the numerator of the fraction in the “Numerator” field.
- Enter the denominator of the fraction in the “Denominator” field.
- Select the desired rounding option from the dropdown menu. You can choose to round to whole numbers, tenths, hundredths, thousandths, and so on, up to millionths. You can also round to tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, hundred thousands, and millions.
- Click the “Round” button to calculate the result. The result will be displayed below the calculator.
- If you want to reset the calculator and clear all fields, click the “AC” button.
Example
Suppose you want to round the fraction 3 1/2 to the nearest tenth. Enter “3” in the “Integer” field, “1” in the “Numerator” field, and “2” in the “Denominator” field. Select “to tenths (1 decimal place)” from the dropdown menu and click “Round”. The result will be displayed as “3.5”.
