If length, width and height are all given in millimetres, multiply them and divide by 1,000,000,000 to get cubic metres: V = L × W × H ÷ 10⁹. For example, 1050 × 480 × 130 mm is 0.06552 m³. A single value such as 478 mm is only a length and cannot be converted to m³ without the other dimensions. If the number is already in mm³ rather than mm, it is a volume and only the unit conversion is needed.
