How to Calculate Ellipsoid Volume
Compute the volume of an ellipsoid (3D oval shape) using the formula V = (4/3)πabc, where a, b, c are the three semi-axes. Results in mL, L, and m³.
Example: an ellipsoidal water tank with semi-axes 1.5 m, 1.0 m, and 0.8 m has a volume of approximately 5,027 liters. A smaller tank 60×40×30 cm holds about 301 liters.
Useful for oval tanks, egg-shaped vessels, and any container approximating an ellipsoid shape.
