How to Calculate Frying Pan Volume
This calculator determines how much a frying pan or skillet can hold, given its top diameter, bottom diameter, and depth in metric units.
Example: a 26 cm frying pan with 22 cm bottom and 4.5 cm depth holds about 1.9 liters. A deep 28 cm skillet with 5 cm sides holds approximately 2.4 liters of liquid.
Since frying pans have sloped sides, the calculator uses the truncated cone formula for accurate results.
