How to Calculate Kettle Volume

This calculator determines how much water a kettle can hold based on its internal dimensions. Enter the diameter, height, and select the kettle shape (cylindrical, tapered, or round).

Example: a cylindrical kettle 15 cm in diameter and 20 cm tall holds about 3.5 liters. A tapered kettle with 18 cm top, 14 cm bottom, and 22 cm height holds approximately 4.2 liters.

Accounts for common kettle shapes including straight-sided, tapered, and rounded body profiles.
