Calculates percentage difference between two values, percentage change from old to new, and what percentage one number is of another.
Not sure which calculator to use?
% Difference — compare two values side-by-side (e.g., prices of two products)
% Change — measure increase or decrease over time (e.g., salary before → after)
% Of — find what part one number is of another (e.g., tip on a bill)
This calculator handles three types of percentage calculations:
- Percentage Difference — compares two values symmetrically. Example: values 80 and 100 differ by 22.22%.
- Percentage Change — measures directional change from an old value to a new one. Example: price rising from 200 to 250 is a +25% increase.
- Percentage Of — finds what percentage one number is of another. Example: 35 out of 200 is 17.5%.
Enter two numbers in the corresponding tab and press Calculate. The result includes a step-by-step breakdown of the formula used.
