This local checker helps read an SPF record before a DNS change or email authentication review. It breaks the record into mechanisms and highlights common policy problems.
What it reports
The output counts SPF mechanisms, estimates DNS-lookup terms, shows the final all policy, notes redirect behavior and flags missing version text, excessive lookup terms, invalid IP mechanisms, ptr usage and overly permissive all behavior.
Limits
The checker does not query DNS and cannot expand include chains. Treat the lookup count as a first-pass estimate from the pasted text.
