How do I calculate square meters of a room?
Measure the length and width of the room in meters. Multiply them: Area = Length × Width. For example, a 5 m × 4 m room = 20 m². For rooms with alcoves, split the floor into rectangles, calculate each, and add them up — or use the L-Shape tab above.
How to convert square meters to square feet?
Multiply square meters by 10.764. For example, 20 m² × 10.764 = 215.28 ft². To convert the other way, multiply square feet by 0.0929. This calculator shows both conversions automatically.
What is 1 square meter in real life?
One square meter is roughly the size of a large beach towel — a square measuring 100 cm × 100 cm (about 3.28 ft × 3.28 ft). A typical parking space is about 12–15 m².
How do I enter feet and inches?
