How to Calculate Torus Volume
Compute the volume of a torus (donut/ring shape) using V = 2π²Rr², where R is the major radius (center to tube center) and r is the minor radius (tube radius).
Example: a toroidal tank with major radius 1 m and tube radius 0.3 m holds about 1,776 liters. A smaller ring 50 cm major radius and 10 cm tube holds approximately 98.7 liters.
Used for toroidal fuel tanks, ring-shaped pipes, inflatable tubes, and donut-shaped vessels.
