How to Calculate Vertical Conical Tank Volume

Compute volume of a vertical cylindrical tank with a conical bottom section. Enter the diameter, cylinder height, cone height, and current fill level.

Example: a tank 1.5 m diameter with 2 m cylindrical section and 0.8 m cone bottom holds about 3,979 liters total. At 1 m fill level (in the cylindrical section), it contains approximately 2,295 liters.

Common in brewing fermenters, grain silos, and chemical processing tanks.
